Corum will meet you where you are, both literally and figuratively, to help you achieve your wellness goals through a customized program that incorporates both exercise and nutrition. He will come to you with all necessary tools and equipment, so all you have to do is show up. This in-home training approach is perfect for individuals who don’t have much time or inclination to travel to a gym, or those who just prefer a more private and convenient fitness experience.

ABOUT
corum gold
With more than five years of experience in the fitness industry, Corum began his career studying to be a personal trainer while serving with the U.S. Army. After suffering from an injury resulting from one of his parachute jumps, he focused his time and energy on studying fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness. During his own recovery, Corum began to develop a passion for helping others achieve their personal wellness goals.

After his honorable discharge from the Army, Corum accepted a position as a personal trainer in New York City, during which he learned from some of the most highly-trained fitness professionals in the country in one of the most competitive and advanced personal training markets in the world. He then leveraged that experience into management roles in which he coached trainers to help their clients accomplish fitness goals and maximize results.
In a strategic move outside of the corporate fitness world, Corum has opened his own business so he can follow his real passion – helping individuals work on their fitness and wellness goals while creating lifestyle changes that will benefit them forever. He is extremely focused on continuous learning and sharpening his craft daily and currently holds 11 different fitness certifications. He has worked with clients ages 14 to 85 with everything from diabetes to heart disease to musculoskeletal issues.
Corum is a Chattanooga native, and in his free time he enjoys rock climbing and other outdoor activities with his wife, Marguerite. He loves reading about the latest in health and fitness, so he is always ready to knowledgeably answer any client questions with credible, results-oriented advice. He would love to help you become the best version of yourself through personal training.

His background, skill sets, and accreditations serve to help him more fully address the specific needs of various clients, providing them specialized training and instruction.

Otherwise, what’s the point? In order to maximize your time with Corum, and make the most of your experience, you must first have an open mind.

The number one thing a new client should bring to the table is an open mind! Although you may have tried all sorts of diet and exercise programs in the past, I encourage you to go ‘all-in’ when it comes to beginning your Corum Gold Fitness program. This does not mean it’s ‘my way or the highway’– rather, it means we will learn and grow from those past experiences to create a nutrition, fitness, and wellness program perfectly catered to you.
Furthermore, a client should be okay with ‘coming as they are.’ The fitness journey you begin with me is not for you when you were on the high school track team or weightlifting with your friends in college, but for who you are TODAY! As you begin your program, patience will certainly be a virtue, so trust the process, and I’ll be with you every step of the way.
Last, but certainly not least, one of the most important things to have when working with me is a completely open and honest line of communication. Don’t be a hero! In the unlikely event you experience discomfort during a particular exercise, or find that one of the nutritional suggestions does not suit your taste, please let me know! That way I can make the necessary changes to ensure your success.
